Alec Glover, MBA is an executive coach specializing in strategic planning for corporations and non-profit organizations. His background as a business executive includes: Chief Executive Officer of Hello Direct, Inc. (HELO, Nasdaq), the leading developer and direct marketer of telecommunications equipment for small and medium-size businesses. He joined the company in 1995 as Executive Vice-President, and became its President and CEO in 1997.
From 1983 to 1994, Alec Glover worked as Senior Vice-President of Marketing and member of the Corporate Executive Committee for Kransco Group Companies, the largest privately held toy and sporting goods company in the United States. The company was broken up and sold to Mattel, Inc. and other parties in 1995.
Alec Glover has served as a consultant to Great Nordic Telecom; the University of California, San Francisco; the University of Massachusetts, Worcester; and Santa Clara University School of Business. He was also a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Pacific Vascular Research Foundation. He is currently on the advisory boards of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, the Tai Chi Cultural Center, and the National Institute for Play.
